HOUSE GUIDELINES *

● Discipleship House residents during the off-school season are required to be gainfully employed within the first month of residency. Rent is $450 per month, payable by the first day of each month.  ● Your gainful employment is for the purpose of sustaining you, while giving you the ability to focus on church ministry.  We recommend limiting your work schedule to a maximum of 40 hours per week in order to not divide your heart for the purpose of ministry. ● Accountability is critical in being a resident for the purpose of living a life above reproach.   Coordinate your activities to be in the home by 11 p.m.  For the sake of house unity, it is expected that you are sleeping in the House unless out of town.   ● This Discipleship Home is to be a place of sanctuary for everyone living in it.  As such, no outside guests, day or overnight, are allowed without prior approval. ● House quiet hours are 10 pm – 7 am.  This is set in place to guard your devotional time with the Lord. ● Room cleanliness is critical.    Pick up after yourself and keep all personal belongings in your own designated space.  ● Always clean up after yourself  EVERY.  SINGLE.  TIME.  you use the kitchen.   If you do not have time to clean, you do not have time to cook. ● Participate in weekly scheduled housecleaning.   A list of chores will be provided but assignments are to be delegated by you and your roommates.  ● Any use of tobacco/ alcohol/ drugs are not permitted while in residence.

MINISTRY GUIDELINES *

Discipleship House Residents are to be rooted and grounded in Christ, daily learning from the Scriptures, and active in personal and congregational growth.  Church fellowship and regular attendance is the life of the Body of Christ for accountability and encouragement.  ● Attend all Sunday, Thursday, and Young Adult studies at Calvary Heritage.  It is your responsibility to get these times off of work. ● Attend (if not working) Morning Worship, Guys Only/ Girls Only Studies, Men’s Breakfasts and Women’s Bible Studies ● Participate in weekly Sunday evening house prayer meeting. ● Participate in monthly Internship Dinners, aka, our B.A.D. Dinners (Bethany And D-House) Keep in mind, that during your residency in this Discipleship House, your ministry focus is to be poured into Calvary Heritage. As such, do not make outside ministry commitments. If you have a ministry burden on your heart, speak with us regarding how the Lord may use you within Calvary Heritage.
