School of Ministry

| DISCIPLESHIP |

| SERVANTHOOD |

| MINISTRY |

Calvary Heritage’s School of Ministry maintains a three-fold focus: Discipleship in God’s Word, Servanthood for the glory of God, and Ministry to the Body of Christ.

As a part-time program, this School of Ministry is designed to be partnered with part-time work, independent studies, or personal rest or recreation.

| DISCIPLESHIP | “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Discipleship, learning to sit at the feet of Jesus through the study of God’s Word, is foundation for ministry. Wednesday evenings are dedicated to devotionals and student prayer time. Thursdays and Fridays are set apart for Bible Class time with our pastors and teachers. Every other Saturday is dedicated to Young Adults fellowship for worship and verse-by-verse study through the book of Hebrews.

| SERVANTHOOD | “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4

Exercising Servanthood is also a key foundation for ministry. Students have the opportunity to learn the behind-the-scene needs of a church, learning to serve the body of Christ through practical and creative church projects.

| MINISTRY | “For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:12-13

Ministry to the body of Christ is the outward expression of loving, serving, and teaching God’s people. Ministry focus is on Sundays and weekly Bible Studies on the Beach, as well as opportunities to focus on a specific area of ministry interest along side our staff: Youth and Kids Ministry, Media Streaming, Lyric Projection, Soundboard, Prayer Team, Coffee Station Hospitality, Deacon Assistants, and Door Greeters.
